NYUAD Open Studios is an interdisciplinary celebration of the arts featuring exhibitions, installations, screenings, performances, talks, demonstrations, and strange happenings.
This event focuses on artistic experimentation and works-in-progress from across the arts programs and provides visitors with a wonderful opportunity to meet students and faculty working in Visual Arts, Interactive Media, Music, Film, and Theater. It also offers attendees with a behind-the-scenes look at NYU Abu Dhabi’s state-of-the-art studios, workshops and labs. This year’s event will feature over 50 happenings throughout the building, including interactive artworks, a live musical recording session, and an in-process body art demonstration and exhibition.
