The XENON Collaboration now consists of more than 140 scientists from 10 countries and 22 institutions. New York University of Abu Dhabi will host one of the annual gatherings of collaborators, in the form of a workshop, to define goals for the year ahead.
The meeting is hosted by NYU Abu Dhabi and held at the Villa La Pietra, in Florence, Italy.

The nearest international airport is Florence Airport, Peretola (FLR). For more information on the Florence airport please visit the website.
Milano–Malpensa Airport (MXP) is another suitable hub for travel to the event, and minor airports such as those in Bologna and Florence are also possible choices, however, they provide fewer connections.
Arrivals from the Florence airport “Amerigo Vespucci” may either take a taxi to La Pietra (journey time is less than 30 minutes) or the “Volainbus” shuttle (operated by ATAF) to the Florence railway station “Santa Maria Novella” (journey time is approximately 25 minutes). Tickets for the Volainbus cost €6 each and may be purchased directly on board. The closest stop on the ATAF bus no. 25 from Piazza San Marco is the “La Pietra1” stop, just beyond the gate of the Villa.
