About BEN
The Boys' Education Network (BEN) is a leadership development program that invites young boys in Abu Dhabi to foster collaborative leadership skills through cultivating a stronger understanding of themselves and the communities around them. BEN was co-founded by NYUAD students in partnership with the NYUAD Office of Community Outreach.
Through actively addressing practices such as self-awareness, team-building, and conflict resolution, BEN aims to explore the roles of an effective leader in our world today, and what it means to create ethical impact.
About the Workshops
The BEN Leadership Development Series curriculum includes six workshops. These workshops are led by male university students who have participated in a facilitation training.
The series will explore the components of leadership (self and community) over the course of six weeks. Participants who are interested in the series must attend all six workshops to complete the program.
