Haptics technologies enable human-machine interaction through the sense of touch. In recent years, the haptics research domain has grown exponentially, involving researchers in the fields of psychophysics, engineering, neuroscience and arts. IEEE HAVE is a premier international symposium that explores all aspects related to tactile and kinesthetic haptic interactions, covering the basic scientific foundations, technological advancements, and algorithms and applications. It is a central venue for reporting research results and demonstrating novel capabilities in the field of haptics.
