About the Aquatics Program
We invite children between the ages of 7-12 years who already have a basic swimming proficiency and would benefit from the program.
The program will run twice a week for a period of four weeks.
The skills we hope to achieve progress in are:
- bobbing
- floating and recovery — front and back
- forward motion — kicking
Eligilibility
- Children should already be comfortable getting in the pool and be able to get their face wet and blow bubbles
- Children need to be available to join all session dates on Sundays and Tuesdays beginning on November 5, 2017. Session dates are outlined below.
- Children need to be transported to NYUAD’s Saadiyat Campus each session and parents/guardians are required to stay for the duration of each session

This program pairs NYUAD student volunteers with young participants as "buddies," mentoring the children under the direction of professional Athletics coaches.
