Explore the interactions between voice, flute, piano and electronics across the music of 3 centuries. Works performed include four Gulf premieres and feature pieces by two NYUAD composers (Carlos Guedes and David Lesser). The concert culminates with Luciano Berio’s hypnotic ‘Altra Voce’ for alto flute, soprano and live electronics, accompanied by a specially created film by NYUAD student Harshini Karunaratne. — Read more
