In celebration of the globally recognized Autism Awareness month of April, the NYU Abu Dhabi Office of Community Outreach and student group Cinema Paradiso invite you to a public screening of the documentary As One: Autism Project.
This heartwarming documentary traces the special journey of the children, parents, and teachers involved in a unique theatrical and musical program in the UAE for children on the autism spectrum. We can think of no better way to shine a light on autism than to celebrate these ten young, bright stars.
The film will be followed by a discussion panel with faculty and practitioners from the community.

About NYU Abu Dhabi's Autism Educational Awareness Month NYU Abu Dhabi organizes an annual month-long Autism educational awareness campaign in April, hosting several events to highlight the need for increased acceptance and education around autism, which sees high prevalence rates in the UAE. This will be our third year hosting our Autism Education Conference and joining the global campaign "Light It Up Blue" by turning the exterior of the campus dome blue in recognition of Autism Awareness Month worldwide.
