In conjunction with the Charisma of the Book: Global Perspectives workshop, book designer Irma Boom, and artists Doug Beube and Brian Dettmer display their works at the NYUAD Art Gallery. Beube and Dettmer create artworks through a transformation of often used or discarded books. Gallery visitors will also have the opportunity to handle the miniature and XXL editions of Boom's renowned work: The Architecture of the Book.
