This lecture explores the interactions between implicit social biases and moral responsibility, arguing that there are non-obvious ways that norms governing responsibility can be extended to cover implicit bias driven actions. Not all knowledge relevant to moral responsibility and exculpation need be “in the head” of the agent whose actions are being evaluated.
