This program presents the global King Lear project, a research and production work in progress that will span two years and five continents, investigating the world's great theater traditions with the end goal of producing a cross-national King Lear for a global audience. Entertaining, informative and provocative, this unique series aims to engage the audience in live discoveries and experiments through shared scenes, speeches, and exercises from recent workshops.
