Details on the companion public program are forthcoming For centuries, Nabati poetry has been a touchstone of identity and tribal values in the Arabian Peninsula. This workshop explores the history of the various themes and genres of Nabati poetry and their development in recent times with the renewed media interest that the poetry has attracted. One evening of the workshop is devoted to recitations with translations of some key texts in the poetry's history.
