Listed for the Man Booker Prize of 2014 and a New York Times Notable Book, The Dog: A Novel (Pantheon 2014) is a tale of alienation and heartbreak in Dubai. Joseph O'Neill, author of the novels Netherland (which won the PEN/Faulkner Award for Fiction and the Kerry Group Irish Fiction Award), This Is the Life, and The Breezes, and of a family history, Blood-Dark Track, reads excerpts and will discuss the writing process.
