Capitalism has long been a lightning rod for moral controversy in the West, from the 19th-century origins of socialism to the 2011 “occupy” movements. This lecture presents research on moral psychology as applied to capitalism in the West and then turns to a discussion on the relationship of capitalism and morality in non-Western nations.

Simultaneous Arabic interpretation will be provided.
