Problems of Peace-Making: Getting Russia to Talk about Ukraine

Talk

WHEN February 25, 2015
6:30-8 PM WHERE NYUAD Campus, Conference Center WHO NYU Abu Dhabi Institute Open to the Public

This discussion focuses on the very difficult business of peace-making – that is, of bringing together parties to a conflict in the search for common ground. Russia’s conflict with Ukraine constitutes the most serious threat to Europe since the Balkan wars of the 1990s. How might the international community convince the Russians to come to the table and talk about Ukraine?

Simultaneous Arabic interpretation will be provided.
