General equilibrium theory (GE) has long been the most active field in (micro) economic theory. This conference aims to map the current trends of GE, and how it feeds other fields, in particular in macroeconomics and finance; envision what could be its future development, in resonance with current trends of research in economic theory; and investigate how GE could be connected to other social sciences, and re-connected to economics.
