At the centennial of the First World, the state of our knowledge about this conflict is at a crossroads. The military and political history of the war’s European theater has been well-studied but beyond this our understanding of the war is far less developed. This workshop gathers international scholars to discuss, compare, and theorize the understudied aspects of the war’s various peripheries.
