This exhibition opening features tours, a reception, and additional events, including a presentation by the exhibition curator and a live performance by artist Rabi Georges. The works on view explore how the body has been represented by three generations of Gulf artists, beginning with the UAE's Hassan Sharif, an experimental artist active since the early '80s and considered the initiator of conceptual art in the Gulf region.
Originally produced at DUCTAC under the patronage of H.H. Sheikh Zayed bin Sultan bin Khalifa Al Nahyan.
