Featuring original songs in special bossa nova style, this performance includes participation from young poets at Khalifa University (mentored by Aisha Al Kaabi), Paris Sorbonne - Abu Dhabi, and NYUAD who recite original works in Arabic, English, and French. Inspired by the music, their poetry complements the upbeat and romantic tones of the Brazilian songs, as the performance aims to connect to local culture in a rich combination of music and poetry. At the heart of the evening's show is performers Celina Charlier and Marcio Miele's belief in the capacity of human relationship to generate art and art to generate human relationship.
