Photographs are a compelling part of our everyday lives with historic, political, and very personal associations and implications. This panel discusses the establishment, evolution, and current goals of the Arab Image Foundation (AIF), a not-for-profit organization that collects, studies, preserves, and promotes photography from the Middle East. The panelists also offer information about fine arts photographs from one of the pre-eminent collections in the world, The Metropolitan Museum of Art.
