With the race for the US Presidency accelerating and the turbulent Republican primaries closing in on a nominee, observers who have been deeply involved in American politics discuss the state of the campaign, the forces reshaping American politics, and the likely outcome in November. Steve Schmidt, senior strategist for John McCain’s 2008 presidential campaign, and Robert Shrum, senior advisor and strategist to the Al Gore 2000 and John Kerry 2004 presidential campaigns, serve on a panel moderated by prominent political commentator Rogan Kersh.
