Networking the Cloud: Enabling Enterprise Computing and Storage

Cloud computing has changed enterprise IT systems by providing flexible, on-demand resources at low cost through virtualization. While existing offerings provide basic computation and storage, they do not tightly integrate networking to provide the transparency, security, and network controls that many enterprise customers desire. This lecture gives an introduction to cloud computing as well as disaster recovery in the cloud, and discusses AT&T's approach to logically unify cloud and enterprise data center resources.
