Late July — Prepare for Campus Life

As part of your transition to NYU Abu Dhabi, you’ll participate in programs designed to support your personal and academic growth. These include assessments and initiatives that help build cultural awareness, connect you with campus resources, and foster a strong sense of community. Engaging with these opportunities will enhance your first-year experience and equip you with tools to connect with your peers.

1. Intercultural Development Inventory (IDI) assessment begins:

The IDI is an assessment tool that helps measure awareness and sensitivity to cultural differences. It is used globally to foster intercultural dialogue and build skills for engaging with cultural complexity.
