Application Fee

The NYU application includes a non-refundable application fee of USD 80, which can be paid online by credit card or by check or money order. Cash is not accepted at this time.

If submitting a check or money order, please include your name and Common Application and/or NYU University ID number on your check or money order. Please make your check or money order payable to New York University and send to:

New York University
Office of Undergraduate Admissions
383 Lafayette Street
New York, NY 10003
USA

Receiving a receipt for the payment of your fee does not mean that your Common Application has been submitted. Please check your submission status on the Common Application website to ensure that both your Common Application and required NYU Supplement have been submitted to be eligible for admission.

Fee Waiver Requests

Students who feel that the application fee would pose a financial hardship may request a fee waiver. All applicants will be asked "Do you feel that your financial circumstances might qualify you for an application fee waiver?" on the Common Application. If you would like to request a fee waiver, please answer "yes" when prompted by the Common Application. Please select the fee waiver that makes the most sense for you in that section. The waiver will be automatically approved and we may request documentation at a later date, if necessary. Requesting a fee waiver will not disadvantage an applicant in any way.

We cannot consider your fee waiver request after you apply for admission if you did not respond with "yes" on the Common Application.
