The first of its kind in the UAE, the PhD in Astrophysics and Space Systems will prepare students not only for positions in academia, but also in the growing field of the space industry and space exploration. This program goes hand-in-hand with the UAE’s mission to establish itself as a leader in space science, inspiring the next generation of space explorers.
Through coursework and research with a focus on collaborative knowledge between both the Physics and the Engineering fields, our students will execute, and complete a multi-year-long research project before earning their PhD, gaining the skills needed to independently oversee and execute complex tasks regardless of their future career.
