The brand experience and creative unit provides guidance on design and user experience best practice and use of the NYU Abu Dhabi visual identity. They ensure the proper use of the NYU Abu Dhabi brand on all collateral by working with colleagues across the University to produce appealing, effective, and outstanding design, and user experience solutions for a variety of needs.
The digital engagement and marketing unit are responsible for building and maintaining websites and their content, and creating and managing campaigns that target internal and external audiences across all channels. They refine digital communications and content marketing plans that target a range of audiences across all channels.
The news and content development unit is responsible for writing, visually documenting, and crafting stories about the University, its community, and academic mission. This unit helps to take ideas, activities, or achievements and publicize them to the wider community and external audiences through a variety of mediums.
The internal communications unit manages the messaging and promotion of materials to the NYU Abu Dhabi community (students, staff, faculty, and campus residents). This includes the intranet, student portal, digital signage, and newsletters. The unit is responsible for priority communications and they oversee communications managed by University departments and divisions.
The media and communications unit works with a range of stakeholders across the University to devise and implement media communications strategies locally and internationally. They promote NYU Abu Dhabi’s news, events, initiatives, and research, and more. The unit handles all media inquiries and requests, provides media training, and works with colleagues on priority communications and the translation of these key messages.
The strategic communications unit manages internal and external strategic and executive communications for NYU Abu Dhabi. From identifying thought leadership opportunities to issues management across the University, the unit takes a proactive, strategic approach to communications while amplifying the mission and vision of the University.
The community and strategic engagement unit creates, builds, and develops holistic relationships and strategic initiatives between NYU Abu Dhabi and the external community, with both organizations and individuals. They work to build sustainable engagements and enhance the presence of NYU Abu Dhabi in the region with the overall goal of contributing to the relevant ecosystems of the UAE.
The university and commercial events unit serves as the one-stop shop for internal and non-NYU Abu Dhabi events and programs on campus. They support university or commercial events and assist with resources and scheduling.
