The 19 Washington Square North Fellowship program offers NYU New York-based faculty an array of resources to support their research collaborations with NYUAD standing faculty. Each Fellow also puts together an academic program or creative event at 19 WSN.
The Fellows program aims to foster and strengthen connections between NYU faculty in Abu Dhabi and New York as well as to enhance academic activity at 19 Washington Square North, the home of NYUAD in New York. Applications for the 2025-2026 Academic Year will now be considered for teams that pair one full-time NYU faculty member in New York with one full-time member of the NYU Abu Dhabi standing faculty. Applicants are asked to propose a plan of joint research or artistic creation for Academic Year 2025-2026 that results in an original scholarly, creative, or artistic product or event presented at 19 WSN either during the fellowship period or the following summer. Examples might include a symposium, panel, exhibit, film, or performance. The 2025-2026 19 WSN Faculty Fellowships are made possible by the generous support of the NYUAD Office of the Vice-Chancellor and NYU Office of the Provost.
