A masterclass in Kathak, one of the eight major forms of Indian classical dance, by leading Kathak dancer and choreographer Aditi Mangaldas. Designed to rethink form, line, tone, and texture, the masterclass explores observation of the elements in different forms. The origin of Kathak is traditionally attributed to the traveling bards in ancient northern India known as ‘kathakars’ or storytellers.
