South African soprano Pretty Yende delighted millions around the world when she sang at the Coronation of King Charles III of the United Kingdom. She is joined by the Sardinian tenor Francesco Demuro, who has had a brilliant career singing major roles in opera houses around the world since making his debut in Parma in Verdi’s Luisa Miller. They come together for a programme of operatic jewels, singing extracts from Donizetti, Verdi, Bellini, and Gounod accompanied on the piano by Vincenzo Scalera.
