Rooftop Rhythms #49 – Grand Finale Slam Competition and Open Mic
The Middle East’s longest running poetry open mic night returns for its fifth season.
The Middle East’s longest-running poetry open mic entertains, educates, and inspires as it shines a spotlight on some of the UAE’s most talented established and up-and-coming spoken word and performing artists. In its fifth season, this diverse celebration of oral expression is hosted by Rooftop Rhythms founder Dorian Paul Rogers. The smooth sounds of DJ A.L.L.A.D. keep the crowd moving and grooving between performances.
Presented by Black on Black Rhyme-Abu Dhabi, Jean Hellon Productions, and The Arts Center at NYU Abu Dhabi with official support from US Embassy Abu Dhabi.
Entrance Details:
This event is open to all ages. Traditional dress (i.e. khandora, abaya, hijab) Is allowed.

*Parking is free for all attendees at the East Park car deck (visible upon entrance to campus), level B1 in visitor spaces. Security will be available to guide visitors to appropriate spaces.
