I am participating on an extension to my young investigator grant (below) where we aim to screen 1,000 Emirati participants with advanced neuroimaging and abdominal sequences, and augment the data with genotyping and whole-genome sequencing to link the imaging phenotype to specific genes related to cardiovascular and neurodegenerative diseases.
