New York University Abu Dhabi (NYUAD) seeks to appoint an Administrative Assistant, reporting to the Executive Director of the Transition Investment Lab (TIL).
TIL is a research center hosted by NYUAD Stern is a research initiative aiming at positioning NYUAD as center of excellence for impact finance and ESG research, with special reference to private markets in Middle East, Africa, and Southern Asia (MEASA). While meeting the highest academic standards, TIL’s research outputs aim to be practically relevant by providing actionable solutions to investors.
The administrative assistant will be required to support the Executive Directors secretarial and administrative needs, contributing to budgeting, procurement, and reporting tasks of the lab. They will also be actively engaged in the organization and management of evens on and off campus.
The ideal candidate must be a highly motivated, organized and professionally adept assistant to assume administrative duties and individual project based work. Responsibilities include scheduling, reimbursements, event planning and logistics of event management and basic administrative tasks related to the scope of the office. They should be mission driven, have a demonstrated commitment to excellence, the ability to work with a high level of professionalism, have excellent communication skills, maturity and the ability to multitask in a fast paced work environment. Attention to detail is critical.
The resource will support the Executive Director’s secretarial and administrative needs, contributing to budgeting, procurement, and reporting tasks of the lab. The resource will be also actively engaged in the organization and management of events on NYUAD campus and off-campus.
