Steps in the PROFILE Application Process
The CSS/Financial Aid PROFILE application will be available after October 1. Please read all of the instructions carefully before beginning to fill out the PROFILE application.

Submit your Common Application
Submit your completed Common Application for admission either for Early Decision I (by November 1), Early Decision II (by January 1), or Regular Decision (also by January 1).

Complete the PROFILE Application
- Sign up for the PROFILE application service at https://profileonline.collegeboard.com.
- Select 2013-14.
- If you are not a member, you must create an account by clicking on Sign Up. Once you have created an account, you must register (note that there is no charge for registering).
- Complete the Student Information. Be sure to use the same name and other identifiers as you have used on your passport or other official documents as well as your Common Application.
- If your parent(s) will be assisting in completing the PROFILE application, complete the parental information (Note: You may share your user name and password with your parent(s) when completing the PROFILE application). If you have a non-custodial parent (as defined by the College Board), please be sure to complete the non-custodial parent application as well.
- You will be notified by the Office of Financial Support if additional documentation is required to verify your application.

PROFILE Application Tips
- Keep a file of all documents you use to complete the PROFILE application as you may be asked for copies for verification purposes at a later date.
- Be aware that you do not need to complete the PROFILE application in one sitting. You may save the information you have entered and return to complete the form at a later date.
- Important: Please do not hit the submit button until the application is complete. If, once the PROFILE is submitted, you need to make changes, you must notify the Office of Financial Support in order to do so.
