Junjie Wang
Postdoctoral Associate

Education: PhD, Queen's University Belfast; MEng, Zhejiang University; BEng, Hunan University
Junjie Wang received BEng in Civil Engineering from Hunan University in China in 2008 and got MEng in Civil Engineering from Zhejiang University in China in 2011. His research in Zhejiang University was about performance and durability of Recycled Aggregate Concrete. He later obtained PhD in Civil Engineering in 2015 from Queen’s University Belfast, UK. In Queen’s University Belfast, his research was about the influence of Structural Cracks in Concrete on Transport Properties and Chloride-induced Corrosion of Steel Reinforcement. He joined NYUAD as a postdoc in March 2016 and his research in NYUAD is concentrated on Alternative Sustainable Cementitious Materials and Bio- and Nano-engineering in concrete.
