Sudhir Sharma obtained his master's (MSc Physics and MTech Materials) from Department of Physics, Barkatullah University (formerly Bhopal University) Bhopal, India. He received PhD in the Development of Shape Memory Micro-actuators in the Department of Instrumentation and Applied Physics, at the Indian Institute of Science, Bangalore (IISc. Bangalore), India. As a postdoctoral fellow, he joined the Centre for Nano Science and Engineering (CENSE), IISc. His research interests include the implementation of supercritical technologies for nanoparticle synthesis, Smart materials for microsensors and actuators, MEMS/NEMS and micro/nano fabrication, vacuum science, and thin film technology.
