The Center for Interacting Urban Networks (CITIES) at NYU Abu Dhabi and the TERI School of Advanced Studies (TERI SAS), New Delhi, jointly present a panel discussion on "Sustainable Mobility and Future Cities." This will be the first Roundtable Series on data analytics for a sustainable built environment.

Monica Menendez is the Associate Dean of Engineering for Graduate Affairs and a Professor of Civil and Urban Engineering at New York University Abu Dhabi (NYUAD), as well as a Global Network Professor of Civil and Urban Engineering at the Tandon School of Engineering in New York University (NYU). She is also the Director and Lead PI of the NYUAD Research Center for Interacting Urban Networks (CITIES). Her research interests include monitoring, modeling, and control of multimodal transportation systems, considering new technologies and data sources.

Saif Eddin Jabari is an Associate Professor of Civil and Urban Engineering at New York University Abu Dhabi (NYUAD) and Global Network Associate Professor of Civil and Urban Engineering at the New York University Tandon School of Engineering. He serves as Cluster-PI in the Center for Interacting Urban Networks (CITIES) at NYUAD. His research interests center on theoretical aspects of traffic flow, specifically topics related to data analytics, uncertainty, statistical mechanics, and emergent phenomena.

Deepty Jain is an Assistant Professor in the Department of Sustainable Engineering. Her areas of expertise include sustainable mobility, integrated land use – transport planning, built environment mapping, active transport, and travel behavior studies. Her current research explores the impact of changing environmental conditions on transport choices as part of a research project funded by the Central Pollution Control Board, India.

Naqui Anwer is an Associate Professor and Faculty Placement Coordinator in the Department of Sustainable Engineering at TERI School of Advanced Studies (earlier TERI University), New Delhi. He also heads the University's Internal Quality Assurance Cell. In addition, he is a visiting faculty at Linnaeus University, Sweden. His academic and research activities are in the fields of microgrids, smart grids, green technologies, and renewable energy.
