With the successful bilateral diplomatic visits and the advent of the Belt and Road Initiative, the long-standing partnership between China and the Gulf is at a pivotal moment of evolution and growth.

As the first student-led, interdisciplinary forum in the region zomming in on this partnership, the China-Gulf Forum at NYU Abu Dhabi brings together leading scholars, business experts, and diplomatic practitioners to an open, diverse, and inclusive conversation, aiming to address the limitless opportunities and lingering challenges and bring us closer to realizing a vision of more dynamic cooperation between China and the Gulf.

This forum will not only serve to raise awareness of the changing landscape around China's role in the region, but also provide a platform for the community to learn from the academic, professional, and governmental perspectives on how China's interaction with the Gulf has changed in the past decade and will progress in the coming years. The panel conversations will enhanceunderstanding about the bilateral regional relationship among the audience, and potentially create more opportunities for cooperation in both the public and private sectors.
