Ma'a Salama Week | May 17-22, 2024

Ma’a Salama is a series of activities and events that take place between the last day of exams and Commencement. These events are designed for you to celebrate your achievements, reflect upon and remember your four years here, and acknowledge the many communities that have supported your experience.

Friday, May 10, 4-5pm	Senior Walk Students will celebrate the end of classes with a walk from the west to east end of campus.	Outside D1
Friday, May 17, 4-8pm	Senior Beach Trip The class will celebrate the end of finals at Yas beach.	Yas Beach
Saturday, May 18, 4pm onwards	Family Desert Trip and Stargazing Night Students and families are invited to celebrate their commencement with a traditional desert trip.
Sunday, May 19, 11:30am-1pm	VC Majlis Students are invited to a farewell conversation with the Vice Chanceller.	Torch Club
Sunday, May 19, Evening	Optional Evening Activities Seniors will be able to sign up for various off-campus activities.	Various locations
Monday, May 20, 1-3pm	Campus Visit and Lunch Families can visit campus with their students. Lunch on campus with student affairs staff.	Market Place
Monday, May 20, 4:30-6:30pm	Alumni Reception Students and families are invited to learn more about joining the NYUAD alumni community. The Vice Chancellor and a selected alum will address the graduating class.	Arts Center Lobby
Monday, May 20, Evening	Optional Evening Activities Seniors will be able to sign up for various off-campus activities.	Various locations
Tuesday, May 21, 9:30am-1pm	Commencement Rehearsal Students will participate in mandatory commencement rehearsal in the performance gym.	C2 Performance Gym
Tuesday, May 21, 10am-noon	Activities for Families Families/guests can sign up for activities while students are at rehearsal.
Tuesday, May 21, Evening	Optional Evening Activities Seniors will be able to sign up for various off-campus activities.	Various locations
Wednesday, May 22, 2:30pm	Commencement Students are required to be in their holding area by 2:30pm. The ceremony begins at 4:00pm. Ticketed streaming option available in the Arts Center.	C2 Performance Gym
Thursday, May 23, 5pm	Student Check-Out Students who do not have housing for a summer opportunity are expected to check-out of student housing by 5:00pm.
