How to Apply
Please note that NYU Abu Dhabi is only admitting students for their freshman year and only for Fall 2010. We are not accepting transfer applications or applications for Spring or Summer 2010. See Application Requirements
In addition to the NYU Application or the Common Application and the NYU Supplement, all applicants to NYU Abu Dhabi must complete the personal statement questions referred to as the "NYU Abu Dhabi Admissions Portfolio." These questions are specific to NYU Abu Dhabi admissions and provide the admissions committee with a better understanding as to why an applicant may be a good fit for NYU Abu Dhabi.
The NYU application, Common Application and NYU Supplement to the Common Application are available through the NYU undergraduate admission web site.
Please note that the NYU Abu Dhabi admissions process will include Candidate Weekends in Abu Dhabi for applicants who are chosen as finalists. Candidate Weekends will be held in both fall 2009 and early spring 2010. Applicants to NYU Abu Dhabi should be prepared to travel internationally for this Candidate Weekend and, therefore, will need to have a valid passport. NYU Abu Dhabi will assist with visa requirements for entry into the United Arab Emirates but all candidates for NYU Abu Dhabi must have a valid passport. More details on the Candidate Weekend will be provided upon submission of your application.
