Creator's Workshop: Object Oriented Composition

Composer Sxip Shirey tests the edge of music through his imaginative exploration of sound. He builds ecstatic melody and unimaginable sound-scapes with an array of reimagined instruments, playful performance strategies and unconventional musical objects. This workshop explores how music can be composed with the everyday objects at your fingertips. It is structured as a performance lecture demonstration with targeted exercises for the participants.
