A Center for Scholarly Community

The Institute is a center of scholarly community for Abu Dhabi, the United Arab Emirates, and the Gulf, bringing together faculty and students from institutions of higher learning throughout the region. 

Connectivity with NYU New York

The Institute sponsors and coordinates major research conferences, workshops, lectures, film series, exhibitions, and performances in Abu Dhabi and New York. Connectivity between Abu Dhabi and New York is reinforced by programs that take place in both cities, addressing mutually relevant topics.

By its comprehensive range of activities, the Institute forms an intellectual and programmatic link between NYU Abu Dhabi and NYU's renowned graduate and professional schools, and research initiatives.
