Center for Digital Scholarship

The Center for Digital Scholarship (CDS) partners with faculty and students on the digital design, implementation, and circulation of their research. The CDS can shepherd digital projects from their inception to their eventual archival treatments, creating responsible lifespans for these projects and their related data. We work closely with our Archives and Special Collections unit to bring historic resources into the digital world, and to capture and archive new resources properly.

The Center for Digital Scholarship is also co-host of the Winter Institute in Digital Humanities, an event aimed at researchers and educators interested in the intersection of technology and the humanities. The Winter Institute features hands-on courses, lunchtime presentations, a keynote, a poster session, cultural and academic visits as well as networking opportunities. Learn more about our inaugural WIDH. Additionally, the CDS routinely collaborates on programs around digital humanities, intellectual property and scholarly communication.
