Ma'a Salama Itinerary
Ma'a Salama Week | May 17-23, 2025
Ma’a Salama is a series of activities and events that take place between the last day of exams and Commencement. These events are designed for you to celebrate your achievements, reflect upon and remember your four years here as undergraduates, and acknowledge the many communities that have supported your experience.

| Friday, May 9, 4-5pm | Senior Walk Graduating seniors will celebrate the end of classes with a walk from the west to east end of campus. Seniors will thereafter be welcomed to a Senior Walk reception in the lobby of A5. Ma’a Salama tickets will be distributed at the reception as per sign ups. |

| Saturday, May 17, 2pm onwards | Yas Beach Trip (students only) The class will celebrate the end of finals at Yas beach. Students are welcome to bring their board games and outdoor games to the event. This event is ticketed as per student sign ups/capacity. |

| Sunday, May 19, 6:30-8:30pm | Alumni Reception Graduating seniors and their guests are invited to learn more about joining the NYUAD alumni community. Vice Chancellor Fabio Piano and a member of the alumni community will address the graduating class. |

| Wednesday, May 21 | Optional Activities (ticketed) Graduating seniors were able to sign up for various off-campus activities ahead of Ma’a Salama. Students and guests are encouraged to engage with the UAE on this day. |

| Thursday, May 22, 2pm onwards | Commencement Graduating seniors are required to be in their holding area before 2pm.The ceremony begins at 4pm, doors closing at 3:45pm. Ticketed streaming option available in the Arts Center. |

| Friday, May 23, 10am | Student Check-Out (mandatory) Students who do not have housing for a summer opportunity are expected to check out of student housing before 10am. |
