Abu Dhabi: A Hot Spot for Entrepreneurship and Global Art

Abu Dhabi is the cosmopolitan capital of the United Arab Emirates (UAE). Known for its beautiful landscapes of beaches and sand dunes, this multi-cultural city is teeming with things to see, do and eat. You’ll use Abu Dhabi and the UAE as a tool for cultural and intellectual discovery through coursework, internships, community service, and individual exploration. It’s also a convenient launch pad for even more international adventures.

 

Health and Safety Standards

The health and safety of our community is our top priority. Abu Dhabi has been ranked the safest city in the Middle East and Africa by the Economist Intelligence Unit’s Safest Cities Index 2021. Our Department of Public Safety works in conjunction with the Office of Global Programs to create a safe and secure environment for learning and exploration. Students have access to the Health Center, a pharmacy on campus, and a variety of mental health resources, and special programming and initiatives from the Wellness Department.

In response to the COVID-19 global pandemic, our community is committed to creating a safe environment for living and learning through a set of evolving mandates and protocols in conjunction with the UAE government and global NYU directives. We are limiting density on campus, employing widespread case monitoring, testing, and distance guidelines, and considering ongoing global travel restrictions, among other considerations.
