Vinicius Libardoni is a Visiting Assistant Arts Professor with a specialization in Printmaking. His practice poetically weaves together architecture, memory, and the tactile resonance of matter. He holds a Bachelor of Architecture from Universidade Federal de Santa Catarina (Brazil), and both an MFA, and a PhD in Fine Arts from the Eugeniusz Geppert Academy of Art and Design in Wroclaw (Poland). His work evokes a suspended moment in the life of structures, where inked impressions on concrete confront viewers with the poignancy of absence and presence.

Libardoni’s research delves into the poetic interplay of architecture, memory, and materiality, using printmaking as an archaeological tool to reclaim the presence of lost structures and the narratives they once held. His signature MEMENTO series have been presented at the Museum of Architecture in Wroclaw, the ZODIAK Warsaw Pavilion of Architecture, the City Museum in Tychy, and Traffic Design Gallery in Poland, Osijek Cultural Center in Croatia, and Galeria Gravura Brasileira in São Paulo. Libardoni’s innovative approach has also been showcased in major international printmaking events including The International Print Triennial in Cracow (2021) and the Polish Print Triennal in Katowice.

Since 2019, Libardoni has taught both traditional and experimental printmaking techniques at the Academy of Art and Design in Wroclaw, initially serving as a Lab Technician and since 2023, holding an Assistant Professor position in the Digital and Experimental Printmaking Studio. From 2023 to 2025, he also served as manager of the City Gallery Printmaking Studio in Wroclaw.

His work has garnered a distinguished array of awards and honours in the international arena, such as the Grand Prix at the 14th Poznań Graphic Arts Biennale (2025), the Premio Internacional de Gráfica Emergente in Bilbao (2023), the Second Prize at the Biennale di Grafica Contemporanea Diego Donati in Perugia (2022), the Atlante International Printmaking Prize in A Coruña (2022), the First Prize at the Primo Premio Senior Grafica Italiana in Vigonza (2021), the First Prize at the 36th Salão de Artes Plásticas de Jacarezinho (2021), and the Prize for the Best Debut at the 11th Polish Print Triennial in Katowice (2021). His earlier accolades include the Golden Prize at the Biennale Oswaldo Goeldi in Brazil (2020), the 47th Carmen Arozena Print Award in Madrid (2019), and an Honorable Mention at the Awagami International Exhibition in Japan (2017).
