NYUAD has developed premier research facilities that are supported by expert staff.

Research Administration at NYUAD promotes inquiry by fostering a supportive research environment, providing funding opportunities, negotiating external collaborations and partnerships, managing grant proposals and awards, and developing appropriate policies and processes. The University is committed to maintaining the highest standards of research integrity and has adopted a Human Research Protection Program and an Institutional Review Board to review research involving human subjects.

Core Technology Platforms

Significant investments have been made in creating the Core Technology Platforms, which provide equipment and services for research in many fields, including biology, chemistry, engineering, and linguistics.

High-performance Computing

Dalma, the largest high-performance computer in the UAE, supports computational research in astrophysics, climate modeling, and genomics through numerical modeling, simulation, and numerical analyses. Faculty in the areas of biology, chemistry, engineering, physics, and psychology use the supercomputer.

Social Science Experimental Lab

An interdisciplinary laboratory, the Social Science Experimental Lab (SSEL) has been established for experimental studies in the social sciences.

Additional facilities to support the creative arts, social sciences, and new areas in science and engineering will be developed as faculty develop their research programs.
