November 15, 2017	Dr. Cristina LaCognata, is working at Linköping University, Sweden and was a candidate for the Department of Mathematics at NYU Abu Dhabi. Her talk was hosted by Professor Francesco Paparella, Associate Professor of Mathematics. The title of her talk is as follows High Order Summation-by-Parts Approximations for Discontinuous and Nonlinear Problems.
November 1, 2017	Postdoctoral Associate of CPCM, Dr. Bidyut Bikash Goswami delivered a seminar on High Resolution Climate Simulation: A temporary quick-fix to an outstanding problem. Dr. Zouhair Lachkar, Senior Scientist at the Center for Prototype Climate Modeling hosted it.
October 25, 2017	Mr. Derara Hailegeorgis, Research Assistant at CPCM delivered a seminar on A Lagrangian study of offshore transport from the Canary coastal upwelling to the open North Atlantic. He was hosted by Dr. Zouhair Lachkar, Senior Scientist at the Center for Prototype Climate Modeling.
October 11, 2017	Dr. Mykhaylo Grygalashvyly, Postdoc, Department of Theory and Modelling, Leibniz-Institute of Atmospheric Physics e.V. at the University of Rostock, Germany gave a seminar on 3D Chemistry-Transport Model of MLT (mesosphere, mesopause, lower thermosphere) and Several Last Results. The host of this talk was Francesco Paparella, Associate Professor of Mathematics, NYU Abu Dhabi.
October 4, 2017	Dr. Muchamad Al Azhar, Postdoctoral Associate, CPCM delivered a talk on his research. The title was Exploring the dynamics of the Oxygen Minimum Zones in the Arabian Sea and the Bay of Bengal.
May 15, 2017	Dr. Matthieu Lengaigne, Researcher, Laboratorie d’Océanographie et de Climatologie, University Paris VI, France delivered a talk on Positive Indian Ocean Dipole events prevent anoxia off Indian West Coast.
