Nadeem Asad received a BS in botany from Punjab University in Lahore, Pakistan in 2000, then obtained an M.Phil. from the Institute of Industrial Biotechnology, Government College University in Lahore, Pakistan in 2008. He was awarded the Fulbright Scholarship for doctoral studies leading to a PhD in molecular biosciences (MDCB Molecular Cellular and Developmental Biology) at the Department of Molecular Biosciences at the University of Kansas in the USA in 2014. From 2014-2017, he gained experience in neurobiology as a postdoctoral researcher at the University of Illinois, Urbana-Champaign, USA. He joined the Dore Laboratory in 2017 as a postdoctoral associate.
