Amnah Alzahmi was born in Fujairah in the United Arab Emirates. She received her Bachelor in Cellular and Molecular Biology from United Arab Emirates University. Currently, she is a part-time Master's student in Molecular Biology and Biotechnology at the United Arab Emirates University. Her research interest is on palmitic acid production in algae as a sustainable source of palm oil alternative.
Her current research involves enhancing the palmitic acid production in algae to be as a sustainable source of palm oil alternative.
