Xianwei Wang, Research Scientist
Dr. Wang's research primarily focuses on sea ice, ice shelf and ice sheet changes in Antarctica as well as wetland changes (especially for lakes) in China. Elevation changes of ice sheet, ice shelf dynamics and freeboard changes of sea ice are primary components of my polar research. Presently, he has worked on the dynamics of the Mertz Ice Shelf and Drygalski Ice Shelf, Antarctica with satellite data.
