NYU ITS has arranged an Adobe agreement that covers both NYUAD issued and Home Use computers. The licence permits NYU faculty and non-contract staff to use Adobe's Creative Cloud Suite at no cost and then authenticate as NYU staff or faculty.

All NYUAD students, faculty, staff, and researchers are eligible for accounts with LinkedIn Learning, an online library of high-quality instructional videos on the latest software tools and skills, such as the Adobe Creative Suite, Final Cut Pro and Microsoft Office. For access, visit LinkedIn Learning and select 'Sign in' and then 'Sign in with your organization portal' and enter nyu.edu on the next page. You'll then be prompted to log in with your NYU netID and password for full access.

Qualtrics is a tool for creating and administering web-based surveys for research, teaching, and administrative needs. Qualtrics is available to NYU faculty, staff, students and researchers as part of a university-wide license that is managed and supported by NYU Data Services in New York, a joint ITS and Libraries service.
Qualtrics makes it easy to create surveys ranging from simple to complex, and includes features such as question mapping based on response type, the ability to export response data to statistical software such as SPSS and a collaboration feature for working with others.

Our students are eligible to learn one language at a time and can choose from 22 different languages, including Arabic, Chinese, French, Spanish, Italian, Hindi, and Tagalog. Note that Rosetta Stone is best for beginners. Advanced learners will be better served by SCOLA. We provide support for the procurement, licensing, installation and troubleshooting of academic software supporting either the curriculum or research. A variety of academic software is available through site or network licenses. If the software you require is not listed below, email us at firstname.lastname@example.org with the name of the software, anticipated usage (curriculum or research), and any other relevant information.
Installation of software on computers not located at the Library, is normally provided by utilizing TeamViewer, which provides secure remote support for license distribution. You may be asked to download the TeamViewer client and provide the secure code to perform this task.
Funding for software that is used for research purposes will be billed to either the faculty research budget or to the relevant department if a previous agreement has been reached.
